Frequently Asked Questions

1What is Hemp Oil?
Hemp oil is a natural hemp extract which has been found to contain important medicinal properties. There is a growing body of evidence that suggests hemp oil extract possess strong OPIOID-FREE medical potential for natural relief from:
  • Knee pain
  • Shoulder pain
  • Joint pain
  • Pain from Arthritis
  • Muscle soreness and tenderness
  • Headaches
  • Migraines
Doctors and patients are finding natural hemp oil extracts to be an effective analgesic for treating mild to moderately severe pain.
2What is Hemp?
Hemp, often referred to as Industrial Hemp, is a member of the cannabis family of plants. Hemp and marijuana are both members of the cannabis family, but very different, just as lemons and grapefruits are both members of the citrus family. Marijuana contains a psychoactive component known as THC (∆9-Tetrahydrocannabinol) and is illegal under federal law, but is currently legal in 29 states for medical use. It is the THC that gets one “high”.

Hemp on the other hand, contains only trace amounts of THC and cannot get you high, and has numerous very nutritious and beneficial compounds (proteins, amino acids, etc.) in addition to high concentrations of VERY beneficial phytocannabinoids to promote good health and well-being. Hemp products are 100% legal in all 50 states and most of the rest of the world.
3Isn’t Hemp Marijuana?
NO!! Industrial hemp and marijuana are both members of the cannabis family, but very different plants, just as lemons and grapefruits are both members of the citrus family. Marijuana is illegal under federal law, but is currently legal in 29 states for medical use. Industrial hemp and hemp products are LEGAL in all 50-states and numerous countries.

Marijuana contains a psychoactive component known as THC (∆9-Tetrahydrocannabinol). It is the THC that gets one “high”. Hemp has only negligible amounts of THC, but not enough to get anyone high, even in large quantities.
4Will Hemp oil use result in a positive drug test?
Drug tests are used to detect THC and other psychoactive compounds. The trace amounts (less than 0.3%, by law) of THC that may be in natural and organic Hemp will not result in a positive test result in standard drug tests.
5I don’t live in a medical marijuana state. Can I still buy your products?
Yes! Our products contain no psychoactive compounds, and, being hemp based, are legal in all 50 states.
6Are there any side effects to using the patch?
There have been no reported adverse side effects to the use of our patch or its components when used according to directions. Our foam patch is a relatively new hypoallergenic material that is gaining widespread use in the medical community. We use only natural, certified organic, non-GMO materials in our products, especially in the hemp extracts, carrier oils, enhancers and fragrances. However, should you develop a rash, swelling, itching, or redness due to use of the patch or any product, discontinue use immediately and consult your healthcare provider.
7I have a latex allergy. Can I use your patch?
Yes. Our patch is constructed on a hypoallergenic foam substrate that is intended for use on patients with latex allergies. However, you should make sure you are not allergic to any of the natural oils and extracts contained in our product. Should you develop a rash, swelling, itching, or redness due to use of the patch or any product, discontinue use immediately and consult your healthcare provider.
8Can I leave the patch on longer than 96 hours?
The patch is designed to deliver the Hemp Oil mixture gradually over 96 hours and leaving it on provides no further benefit. Leaving the patch on longer than 96 hours may result in skin irritation due to the normal skin cell replacement process being inhibited (dead skin cells are not allowed to be removed or fall off), and therefore, it is not recommended to leave a patch on for more than 96 hours.
9After wearing a patch for 96 hours, how long do I have to wait before applying another?
It is recommended that you not wear consecutive patches on the same area of skin. Skin cells are constantly dying and being replaced with new cells. If these dead cells are not allowed to fall off (e.g., held in place with a bandage,) irritation may result.

If you need to use another patch after the first patch has been worn for 96 hours, it is recommended that you apply it to an area of the skin close to the source of the pain, but adjacent to the position of the first patch.
10How do I apply the patch?
The patch should be applied to clean, dry, unbroken skin as close as possible to where pain is most intense. Clean the area with the alcohol swab included with your patch and allow the skin to dry. Remove the protective strip from the adhesive side of the patch and carefully place the patch on the target area. Gently press the patch to ensure maximum adhesion. Do not remove the patch for showering or bathing, as this will greatly lessen the effectiveness. Removal and reapplication of a patch greatly compromises its adhesion. Patch works best when applied to a less hairy area of skin.
11Should I remove the patch to shower or bathe?
No. Do not remove the patch for showering or bathing, as this will greatly lessen the effectiveness. Reapplication of a patch greatly compromises its adhesion. Patch works best when applied to a less hairy area of skin.
12Where should I apply the patch?
The patch should be applied to clean, dry unbroken skin as close as possible to where pain is most intense.
13Can I wear more than one patch at a time?
It is recommended that you wear only one or two patches (e.g., back or neck; one on each foot or leg, etc.). Usually patients experience relief with one or two patches. Wearing additional patches has not been shown to be harmful, but may not provide additional benefit.
14Can I use the roll-on or spray while I am wearing a patch?
Absolutely. Patients often use a patch for back pain, and the roll-on or spray for localized pain elsewhere, like an arthritic knuckle, or near the patch to augment its effects and kick-start relief.
15The oil in the roll-on or spray bottle separated. Is this normal?
Yes. We use a blend of natural oils and extracts of various densities and melting points, each of which become solid at different temperatures. You may notice more solids at the bottom of the bottle in colder temperatures, and little or no solids at higher temperatures. It is however recommended to gently agitate the bottle prior to applying the product to get the intended full effect from each and every component in the mix.
16Can I apply the roll-on or spray anywhere on my body?
Yes. The only limitation is to avoid applying to broken skin. Although many users have applied the oil to cracked and broken skin and have reported positive results, it is not recommended.
17What if I get some of the roll-on or spray liquid in my mouth?
Although not intended to be taken orally (even though it doesn't taste bad) ingesting the hemp extracts and other natural ingredients in our products will not harm you. Our roll-on and spray liquids are made from food grade components.
18How much and how often can I apply the roll-on or spray?
The oils in the roll-on absorb rapidly once applied and massaged into the skin. It is recommended that you do not apply amounts that will result in an oily feeling lasting more than a few minutes. A maximum amount of oil to apply at any given time has not been established and varies by skin conditions. How much you apply at any given time is a personal decision.

Maximum tolerable dosage to our pain relief ingredients has not been established. Our recommendation is that you start out with an initial application, and wait about twenty minutes. If you experience no relief, reapply and wait twenty minutes again. Repeat this process several times. Although applying a large amount of our hemp oil mixture is not harmful, we recommend using as little as necessary to relieve your pain, so as to not waste money.

Depending on the type and origin of the pain, it may take a day or more to get relief (arthritic and tendon related pain may take longer to respond than muscular pain from overexertion). If you still do not experience relief after a day or two, then this product may not be the best treatment for your pain. And as always, if swelling or irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician, as you may be allergic to one or more of the ingredients.
19How should I store the patch?
Patches should be stored in a cool, dry area. The oils in the patches are designed to liquefy at skin temperatures and migrate out of the reservoir onto the skin. Higher temperatures will not degrade the effectiveness of the pain relieving oils, however, they may cause the oils to seep out of the reservoir pad and onto the adhesive of the foam patch, degrading its ability to adhere to the skin for the intended duration of 96 hours.
20I live in a warm region. Will the heat degrade your products if it sits in my mailbox on a hot day?
Storage at elevated temperatures is not a problem. High temps do not degrade the oils, in fact, some of them are used for high temperature cooking. Our products are filled at ingredient temperatures of about 170 degrees F to speed production filling processes. The patch design has a reservoir that is designed with excess capacity to accommodate thermal expansion volume and thereby prevent “leaking” out onto the adhesive area of the patch and degrading the adhesion.
21I live in a cold region. Do I have to worry about your products freezing in transit?
No. Freezing does not degrade the ingredients. Just be sure to thaw the product thoroughly before use (Brrrr!!).
22Do you ship to APO/FPO/DPO Addresses?
Yes we do. Mail to APO/FPO/DPO addresses is handled like domestic mail. Just make sure the address is complete. Each shipment to an APO/FPO/DPO needs the recipient's name and rank, their unit, and the APO/FPO/DPO address with 9-digit ZIP Code. And always make sure to include a return address. Mail and shipments must be addressed to someone specific as addressing to "Any Service Member" is no longer permitted.
23How can I become a distributor?
